Getting started

Pocket Photo Studio turns a selfie into a compliant passport or ID photo, entirely on your device. There's no account and no sign-in — open the app, pick the document you need, and take or import a photo.

Taking your photo

Two ways in:

• Camera — live on-screen guidance helps you line up head size, centering, and tilt, then captures when you're in frame.
• Import — pick an existing photo from your library.

The app crops to the exact size for your chosen country, replaces the background with the required colour, and checks the result.

Choosing a document

Pick from 100+ country and document presets (passport, visa, ID). Each carries the official size, background, and head-height rules. A few specs are marked "researched — confirm"; those are best-effort and worth verifying against the issuing authority.

The compliance check

After processing you get a pass / needs-work summary with a plain-English "why it might be rejected" explainer covering head size, framing, eye position, tilt, eyes open, neutral expression, background, sharpness, lighting/exposure, and glasses glare.

Pocket Photo Studio is a guidance tool. The issuing authority always makes the final decision on acceptance.

Saving & printing

• Save the finished photo to your Photos library.
• Print sheet — tile copies on a 4×6 in or A6 sheet for cheap drugstore printing, with cut guides and a 50 mm scale check.
• AirPrint straight to any printer, or share the image.

For correct dimensions, print at 100% (Actual Size), borderless — don't "fit to page."

Share Extension & Shortcuts

• Share any image to Pocket Photo Studio to turn it into an ID photo without opening the app first.
